About

Hi there! I am Ola. I am a second-year PhD student at Howard University. This online portfolio is created for the main purpose of digitizing my ongoing research in African History and the Atlantic World. I hope to tell a story yet to be told, account for the forgotten or neglected history of paternity fraud left untold in Africa and across the Caribbean region. This is a work in progress, to be told through the archives’ silence, colonial reclassification, and oral evidence. I aim to give life to this neglected narrative and to keep the momentum going by digging into the past to force a conversation in the present. You might like it here, so stay tuned.
